About us

About us or better to say more about me.

My name is Pavla, and I am originally from the Czech Republic. However, I have since made the UK my home, where I have settled down and started a family. It was the journey of motherhood that led me to discover the world of barefoot living. As my son took his first steps, I embarked on a quest to find the ideal first shoes for him, which ultimately led me to explore the concept of barefoot footwear. Watching my child learn to walk and run, naturally sparked introspection about whether barefoot shoes were truly the best choice, or if I had been influenced by marketing tactics.

In the spring of 2022, I made the decision to purchase my first pair of barefoot sneakers, and from that moment on, there was no turning back. My toes immediately rejoiced in the newfound freedom, signaling their preference for shoes with a wide toe box. It became evident that traditional shoes with pointed toebox were no longer suitable or comfortable for me, let alone for my child.

The pursuit of healthier and more comfortable footwear became an ongoing journey for me. It involved a continuous search for the perfect fit and careful consideration of various parameters, including sole thickness, room for toes, and instep height. I soon realized that the ideal shoe should not only protect the feet but also allow them to move freely and naturally, without any restrictions or deformities.

As I delved deeper into the world of barefoot shoes, I discovered their numerous benefits beyond just comfort and fit. Barefoot shoes promote better posture, strengthen foot muscles, and improve overall balance and stability. They encourage a more natural gait and help prevent common foot ailments such as plantar fasciitis and bunions. Moreover, barefoot shoes promote a deeper connection to the earth and the environment, allowing wearers to experience the ground beneath their feet in a more tactile and sensory way.

With this newfound knowledge and passion for barefoot living, I am committed to sharing the benefits of barefoot shoes with others. Through my journey and experiences, I hope to inspire and empower individuals to prioritize foot health and embrace the freedom and comfort that barefoot footwear offers. Join me on this journey towards healthier, happier feet and a more grounded way of living.

  • Barefoot Shoes for Children

Barefoot shoes typically have a wide toe box to allow the toes to spread out as they would when walking barefoot. This design encourages a more natural gait and posture, promoting overall foot health.
